A friend of mine asked me to watch 'Taken', but I wasn't a big Liam Neeson fan so I did not watch it. A couple of weeks later he asked me if I had watched it, when I said no, he again asked me to watch it and promised me that I will love it. And he was right!!
Liam Neeson stars as Bryan Mills, an ex-CIA agent who has moved to LA in order to be near his 17-year-old daughter Kim (Maggie Grace). When Kim heads off for a European holiday with her friend, Bryan is reluctant to let her go. His fears prove justified when she's 'Taken' by Albanian sex-traffickers less than an hour after arriving in Paris.
Kim is on the phone with Dad when a bunch of men come into another room and grab her friend. He has just enough time to prepare her, to instruct her on the basics — “Focus,” “Describe the men” and hold the phone where he can pick up their voices. When Kim is finally kidnapped, Bryan has time to warn these guys with the, now infamous, "I will find you, I will kill you" dialogue. So he sets off to rescue her, using the particular set of skills at his disposal. But will he be able to save Kim before she is auctioned off to the highest bidder?
Liam Neeson could have had an awesome career as an action star.. The movie starts slow but once the action begins there is no stop to it. The plot can seem a bit absurd at times (especially the ease with which he is able to track down the perpetrators) but I have seen a lot worse.
Overall Conclusion: Definitely a must see if you are an action fan. Liam Neeson is totally convincing as a brutally efficient killing machine. Neeson is calm, cool and he kicks all kinds of bad guy butt. Although it does have its flaws, I enjoyed the film so much I could easily sit through it again.

I also liked Taken when I saw it; reminded me of how I enjoyed when I was watching The Bourne Ultimatum.
But if you liked these two movies, you MUST see Léon. If I give Taken a rating of 7/10 and The Bourne Ultimatum an 8/10, I'll give Léon a 9/10. Simply because it has a superb villain.
